Noseband for the PresTeq bridle, which can be individually adjusted using the individual parts. Traditional nosebands lie horizontally on the nose and push the skin towards the molars and can cause blisters on the inside of the jaw, especially when the noseband is tightened too tightly. The FaySport retainer lies in front of the molars and does not interfere with the teeth. The special shape of the noseband also avoids the nasal and facial nerves of the horse's head. Pressure on these nerves can cause numbness in the upper lip, nostrils, eyelids and jaw.
Sizes are measured as the circumference of the horse's nose plus the width of two fingers under the cheekbone.
