High-quality breathable mesh rug that prevents insects from entering and reduces the risk of eczema. Including neck and belly pieces. Elasticated parts ensure comfort and movement without restrictions.In many horses, insect bites and subsequent scratching of the wounds can lead to the development of very unpleasant and problematic eczema. This rug can significantly reduce the possibility of these eczemas developing. Provides protection against sunlight and UV radiation. Washable at 30°C. Photos are for illustration purpose only – the rug is supplied in a different colour shade.
The rug has a UV protection factor of 25 – allowing only 4% of UV radiation to pass through, meaning it is 96% resistant to sunlight. A UPF rating of 25 means that only 1 out of every 25 units of UV radiation can pass through the fabric.Theoretically, this means you can stay in the sun 25 times longer before receiving the same amount of UV radiation as without protection
