The rings are designed to prevent pinching. The ring openings are protected by copper sleeves, significantly improving the bit's durability. The innovative mouthpiece design enhances bit acceptance and facilitates communication between horse and rider. The mouthpieces are made of safe, food-grade plastic that is exceptionally smooth and glides well in the horse's mouth. Handcrafted in Germany according to very high-quality standards. The  3-Ring bit combines the effect of a traditional snaffle with a leverage bit. The level of action can be adjusted depending on the rein attachment. When the reins are attached to the lower ring, the rein acts as a short lever, exerting pressure on the horse's poll. The three-ring bit is often used to test a horse’s response to leverage effects.
